DATA PRIVACY & PROTECTION

CONFIDENCIALITY OF PERSONAL DATA

When registering on this site you will be asked for personal data. It is intended to check the identity and suitability of required profiles along experimental sessions. This process is necessary to fulfil the methodological approach of experimental economics and obtain high-quality, validated results.

As established in the consent form provided to all volunteers, LINEEX researchers undertake to keep the Confidential Information secure and not to disclose it to any third party, including the obligation to establish the appropriate security hardware and software measures.

LINEEX accomplishes all procedures established by the GRPD and the spanish regulation (Ley Orgánica 3/2018, de 5 de diciembre, de protección de datos de carácter personal y garantía de Derechos digitales).

We will inform all volunteers participating in LINEEX experimental sessions that their personal data will be collected by the file “LINEEX” stored and owned by Universidad de Valencia, and registered in the Spanish Agency of Data Protection.

Volunteers are entitled to request for access, modifications and cancelation of their own personal data by attaching identificative document to their request, addressed to Servicio de Informática - Protección de datos (Universitat de València), C/ Amadeo de Saboya, 4, 46010 Valencia. The reference “LINEEX” should be provided to facilitate their request.

ANONYMITY OF THE RESULTS DERIVATIVE FROM DECISIONS

Experiments’ results will be made anonymous.  Consequently, behavioural data obtained by decision-making in the running of the experiment will not be associated to a particular identity, breaking the link between decisions made by the participant and his personal identification data immediately after the end of the session (payment procedure).

These data will be available, in a first moment and temporarily, exclusively for the researchers linked to the project to establish conclusions and prepare the scientific publications associated to these.

Once results have been expressed in scientific publications, data derivative from participants’ behaviour may be incorporated to a public-access repository according to the DMP (Data Management Plan) required by the European Commission for new projects framed in the H2020 calls: https://zenodo.org/about
